ADDRESSES (SUPPORTING MATERIALS)

ANGELS AND DEMONS

On 28 May 2009 at The Brink Lounge in Madison, WI, Dr Van Slyke addressed a crowd of young adults gathered for Theology on Tap on the topic of "Angels and Demons." The address covered three topics: the purpose of art; Dan Brown's novel Angels and Demons and its film adaptation, and, very briefly, the nature and activity of angels via two of Bernini's statues that appear in the novel: Habakkuk and the Angel, and the Ecstasy of St Teresa.

At the request of some of the participants at the event, the PowerPoint presentation that accompanied the address is being made available through the following link: Angels and Demons.
